In our 1000-Hour Barbering Program, you can train in the art and science of barbering. At New England Hair Academy, it is our goal to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to start a position in a barbershop or even pursue your dream of opening your own!

Qualified, skilled barbers are always in high demand. We offer students the professional background and comprehensive barbering education that today's employers want for their businesses.

You'll be trained in the career-specific skills you need to immediately pursue positions in the industry. Courses will include hands-on experience with hairstyling, hair coloring, beard design, hair and scalp treatments, clipper cuts, and shaving. We also provide you with a strong foundation in professional skills with classes to prepare you for job searching, shop management and client relations.

After completion of our barbering program, you'll be prepared to sit for the Massachusetts Board of Barbering examination.

Day Classes:

• 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM -Monday - Friday for 7 months
• 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM - Monday - Friday for 10 months

Evening Classes:

• 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM - Monday - Thursday for 15 months
